Melodic Journeys: Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Cage The Elephant & Beyond
Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Cage The Elephant, and other musical acts will take the main stage in Denver from May 29-31, 2026.
The much-anticipated celebration of outdoor culture and community, Outside Days, is returning to downtown Denver for its third year, and it promises to be more exciting than ever. This annual gathering, with presenting sponsors Capital One and REI Co-op, is now expanding to three days of music featuring headliners Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Cage The Elephant, Tash Sultana, Goth Babe, Japanese Breakfast, The Flaming Lips, Dawes, and more.
Previously known as the Outside Festival and Summit, the event showcases a diverse mix of musical performances, adventure films, and discussions with elite athletes, explorers, and storytellers. It’s an experience designed to help attendees reconnect with nature and foster connections with one another.
The fascinating industry conference associated with Outside Days begins on Thursday, May 28, featuring the third iteration of the Outside Summit. This networking and thought leadership event caters to outdoor professionals, while year two of Outside Ignite, a startup pitch competition, continues to foster innovation by bringing founders and investors together. New tracks have been introduced for 2026: Attract, aimed at travel industry innovators, and Endure, designed for endurance race directors and event planners.
Since its founding in 2024, Outside Days has evolved rapidly, transforming into something greater than a mere music festival. It embodies a cultural movement encouraging people to embrace the outdoors. Drawing more than 50,000 attendees in its first two years, the festival has been dubbed the “SXSW of the outdoors.” In 2026, the event will relocate to Denver’s Auraria Campus, where organizers anticipate over 35,000 attendees.
