Milos Sarcev Shares Why the Men’s Physique Division is Thriving Right Now

In Episode 255 of The Menace Podcast, host Dennis James, along with regular panelists Chris Cormier and Milos Sarcev, took a deep dive into the 2025 Olympia event. The team had mixed feelings about the Open division, conveying some disappointment that it didn’t fully meet expectations. However, Milos Sarcev was particularly enthusiastic about the Men’s Physique category, noting its competitive edge.

Dennis “The Menace” James shared his dissatisfaction with the fact that not all competitors in the Mr. Olympia main event showcased their full potential. Still, he acknowledged Ryan Terry’s remarkable performance in the Men’s Physique division. “Ali (Bilal) is phenomenal… from the front,” remarked Milos Sarcev about the runner-up. “But once he turns around, Ryan Terry really seals the deal. It was strikingly clear.”

Ryan Terry celebrated his third consecutive win in Las Vegas, solidifying his dominance in the category. “He’s added so much more muscle to his back,” noted Chris Cormier. “He’s truly become a well-rounded athlete.”

Milos Sarcev Lauds the Evolution of Men’s Physique

“I’m genuinely impressed with these physiques,” remarked Sarcev, a former Mr. Universe. “I stick by my opinion; these competitors embody the type of physique I admire. If I were competing, I would want to show off my legs as well.”

Despite ongoing debates over board shorts in the Men’s Physique Division, Ryan Terry has voiced his readiness to display his impressive legs should any rule changes arise. Sarcev’s acclaim for the Men’s Physique category serves as an encouraging nod to a division that faced criticism earlier this year from Arnold Schwarzenegger, which led Ali Bilal to vow a boycott of future Arnold competitions.
